Picnic The 10:30 a.m. service is held in the main sanctuary just inside the main double doors.  A greeter will welcome you and an usher will offer a church bulletin.  Our contemporary style sanctuary is not quite like a theater in the round, but it does have seating on three sides of the altar.  We suggest that you sit in the center section for the best view of the altar and pulpit. Children are welcome in the service and there is a children’s sermon each week.  Ask for a Peace Bag of books, crayons, stickers and pads for your child. There is also a nursery for babies and toddlers.  Anyone can direct you to the nursery.

The 10:30 service begins with an organ prelude and follows a set pattern of worship.  You will be able to participate because all parts of the service are printed in the bulletin.  Holy Communion is offered each Sunday.  A maroon Friendship Pad is found in each pew.  We pass this pad down each row and those in attendance may write their names. This helps us get to know each other and to greet others by name.  There is also an area for visitors to request more information or a visit from a pastor.  While we invite everyone to sign the Friendship Pad, there is no obligation to do so.

We encourage guests to join us for coffee hour in the fellowship hall near the sanctuary immediately following the service. Here you'll meet others who will offer you light refreshments while getting to know you, answering your questions, and guiding you to resources about the church.

If a more informal service is your preference, come to the 8:00 a.m. service held in the fellowship hall.  The easiest access to the fellowship hall is through the door approached by the first driveway to the right off Summit Place.  A traffic circle is located there.  After entering the building, walk down the hall past the nursery and Sunday School rooms and you will find the fellowship hall straight ahead. People sit around a large table. This service always begins with introductions going around the table.  People often drink coffee and share cookies while they discuss the Bible readings of the day.  Holy Communion is offered every Sunday.  There is no music associated with this service.
Ethiopian Christmas For those who speak Amharic, a worship service is held in Amharic at 8:30 a.m. in the main sanctuary. There is singing and a sermon in Amharic.

Before you leave, be sure to get a copy of the Peace brochure with its cover design reflecting the stained glass windows in the sanctuary.  And most importantly, come again.
